We are pleased to announce the DIS Pre-Moot Bonn, jointly organized by the Bonn Moot Association e.V. (BMA) and the Deutsche Institution für Schiedsgerichtsbarkeit (DIS) German Arbitration Institute.

The event’s opening and hearings on Friday will be hosted at premises of the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn. On Saturday, the pleadings will first take place at the law firm Flick Gocke Schaumburg, before heading to the DIS’ villa in Bonn for the final round and a closing reception. Eight teams will compete against each other, showcasing their expertise in arbitration proceedings.

The event serves as a prelude to the 32nd Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot, taking place in Vienna on 11-17 April 2025. Participating in the DIS Pre-Moot Bonn will provide a special opportunity for students to refine their skills in preparation for the fiercely contested general rounds in Vienna. The occasion will also serve as a platform for networking, fostering connections among both professionals and those new to the field.
